Asphalt Sealer

Coal Tar Asphalt Sealer is currently being investigated by the EPA as a potential pollutant to our ground water, it's because of this that several larger municipality's have banned coal tar asphalt sealer. It's thought that as the sealer deteriorates it may be washed off the pavement and running into our waste water system where it ends up in streams and rivers.

It's because of this that many sealcoaters are beginning to use the alternative, that being Asphalt Emulsion Pavement Sealer which is said to be the "Green" solution to the pollution problem.
